I was in McDonald's (I hate the food but I was hungry and I had a COUPON they sent me in the mail), and as I was eating and drinking Coke, CNN was on the TV, and they had a several minute f**king live report from Australia about Oprah's Australia trip she gave away to some fans, they were apparently going to meet that night at the Sydney Opera House, which for that day will be renamed the Oprah House. I sat there and I realized that this is what's wrong with America, McDonald's, Coke, CNN, and Oprah. And I am part of it. After that, they were playing something about the No Labels group that just started with all the star power of some campaign fundraising and pundit thugs, and not one of the people on CNN had the courage to say that the statements from No Labels are meaningless.

We now sell a home soda maker at work, I guess it's cost-effective if you drink a lot of soda. This one new girl is seriously a hambeast, she's as wide as the register bays and I really almost asked her "Really?" when she bought one.

I saw those when I was there, how good are they? I would assume they make awful soda.

I would be very tempted to just drink the syrup that comes with it.

It's very easy actually. I don't think I've drank any sodas in two years already and I don't miss them.

That's only because people are really, really dumb.

Actually Matt, they gave us one to try and the other employees have said it's good. I haven't tried it yet but it's in the breakroom if I ever cared enough. It's not like soda is very hard to make, although I agree that adding the syrup after carbonating the water seems dubious.

Good lord Matt, I just realized that you have 4 times as many posts per day as I do.

I know that soda fountains mix the two but there is a difference between a machine doing it and some lady shaking a bottle.

Yeah, I try not to look at my post count.

Judging by the looks, Gibson >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fenders. Even the Danelectro, from the other classic rock guitars, looks better than Fenders to me. Between the Fenders, though, I have a preference for Teles. They're so ugly that I kinda like them. Jimmy Page's hippie Tele, with flower designs on it, from before we turned to Gibson, is quite cool.

RE their qualities as music instruments, I don't have the slightest clue what are their pros and cons.

Telecasters are perfect for country music.

I play a white Strat and an Ibanez semi-hollow bodied most of the time.

Too poor for a Gibson, but the ones I played weren't that great.

I have my eye on a Parker Fly.  Weighs less than a newborn baby and sounds amazing.
Parker is for pop music basically, the sound is pretty much plastic and a little thin, so it's good if that's what you want.

Gibson, only if you play blues like a master, they are excellent for bends and warm chords, but awful for heavy riffing... I have played with many Gibson in my life and I have to say, no comparisson, Ibanez is way better, but of course, I want to play heavy rock... I would want to buy a Parker, for a less heavy project, but that's only a dream... no money, no Parker... Unhappy
Change the program inside... Stay in silence is a crime.

Hey Pat.

Every thread is the beer thread.

Unfortunately, this was dedicated to Rob, but he wasn't listening.

everyone knows Danelectros are the best guitars ever.  And ESP is way better than Ibanez in every way
