Bandcamp is great. It's extremely user-friendly and quite intuitive. I hope it catches on a bit more in the future.

Jeff, you should Shred Room more often. By the way, one track on Refulgence is semi-metal. It's the heaviest thing I've ever written anyway (short of one song that's going on my third album most likely). I wonder what you'll think of it. The vocals aren't recorded yet, but everything else is. It's called "Riddles in the Dark." |

Not a bad answer actually. But I just ate something very sweet, and I only had cider in the first place. Maybe tomorrow! |

I should - it's time that's really the issue here. ![]() ![]() ![]() I really can't wait for Refulgence at all - the song I've heard that's in your signature is incredible. If the rest of the album is even close to that, we have an early contender for one of the top 2011 albums. The metal part sounds interesting; I'm excited to hear how it all comes together. ![]() ![]() |

"If the rest of the album is even close to that" Well, none of it is, in my personal opinion. ![]() "Bold Eternal Day" is a song I'm kind of obsessed with. It's my favorite thing I've ever written so far I think. That heavy riff in the middle? I wrote that years ago. Then one day, completely unrelated, while I was walking to get the mail, I wrote this interesting introduction in my head. I got back and tried to work with it, got really frustrated, and almost scrapped it. The 7/4 verse riff just fell into my lap one day when I was screwing around with my new bass. I wrote the lyrics in about 20 minutes. I didn't like them at first, but the more I sang it aloud, the more they resonated with me. Everything fell together. It is one of the most piecemeal songs I wrote (probably second to "An Everlasting Kingdom"), yet listen to how well it flows. And Tasha...it took us all afternoon to get the compressor and preamp right to record her vocals, but God. I love that girl for so many reasons. Boobs notwithstanding. |

Impressive? ![]() All is beer except for the bourbon. Milwuakee's Best is probably the cheapest beer you can buy here. The Samuel Adams' Imperial Ale is beer also, but is epic and has 10%+ alcohol. Something to drink slowly out of a nice glass. Everything else is cheap sh*t. I'm a quantity over quality guy when it comes down to it. That would be true even if I were a millionaire. Busch Light (very cheap beer) is one of my favorites. Keeps my piss clear, it does. Edited by Epignosis - December 14 2010 at 15:57 |

I'm using bandcamp for my latest band, the interface is great, it's really easy to use, and you can easily customize and change things http://thecozmikorkestrah.bandcamp.com/ |

I think that if I were rich I'd make the compromise and drink vast amounts of the best available drinks.
