Yep, it's a good album. And I really really like that cover as well.

Morning to you too Alex. I gotta go take the dogs out (about -15 celsius there), then I can listen to some sweet Kraut.

That was pretty good Matt.  Kind of made me think of Blind Guardian with Robby Steinhardt on violin.

Oh God, I MUST HAVE THIS!

Is that Bucium?
Yes.  I don't know if that is a good description or not, but that was kind of the first thing that came to mind as I was listening to that song. LOL

Ya, but it is somewhat correct. Also, vocals in Romanian, Alex should definitely try this. And how the hell a metal band was added to progfolk when that Trane guy is a team member?

Alex does know them, he added the video's on their artist page. LOL

LOL I added the band, I even credit myself for the bio LOL

Also, they're not a metal band, but they do have metalz in their recipe.

I added all their album as YouTube videos on their PA page.

I used to avoid Blind Guardian solely because of my negative stigma on Power Metal....but they are pretty damn good.

Have fun Pekka. Here it's quite warm (5 degrees plus at 9AM, that's not winter-ish).

I just got a five disc Faust box (The Wümme Years) and a two disc compilation of German rock and electronic music from the 70s and 80s, plus a big bunch of albums from different bands, so there's plenty to explore now.

I do need more Krautrock.

All I have are 3 albums from Can, some Faust and Phallus Dei.

So after I got rid of the viruses/trojans I had on my computer the bugs they inflicted to my software are still there. The most annoying is this: when I play an album, sometimes my audioplayer suddenly jumps to the beginning and resumes playing from the first track again. Usually I notice this but in case of drone, electronic and less spectacular music in general there is no sudden change of rhythm/tempo/volume/etc when it happens. I decided to start my day with Klaus Schulze's debut and after 70 minutes I was wondering why I am still listening to this, I don't remember this to be so long LOL God I hate this Angry I really need to reinstall my system.

Also, Brian, you really need to try this soft woodcore (I might have recommended it to you already, sorry if so).

Alex, have you ever used CCleaner? After I had some malware last year, my iTunes seemed to skip to the next track halfway through every track for a while, and also had some problems with not scrolling, and CCleaner got rid of that/makes your computer run temporarily faster. I run it every month or so now.

You might also wanna try some other anti-Malware programs.

I use CCleaner, but it's not a virus/malware protection tool. Maybe you ran a registry scan & repair and that fixed your bug? It didn't fix mine.

I was using AVG Antivirus (the free edition) when I got infected. I am now on NOD32, and I also installed an anti-malware software that Rob recommended. I wasn't using anti-malware, I didn't know what it was. I see now that it complements the anti-virus, and protects you from stuff that the anti-virus doesn't know about. I guess it's never too late to learn.

This is quite great stuff for a certain mood, one that I'm in right now. Thumbs Up The Tantric Songs cd that I got from the library also had Hosianna Mantra on it, so now I've got three Popol albums to digest. There was no mention of the Hosianna tracks in the library files, they've had the album for 20 years with no mention of it anywhere.

Colin, do you know any online retailers who sell Egnater amps? They only list like 5 music stores in America as resellers, and I think I might get one if I don't end up getting the Orange Rockerverb.

no idea.  Personally, though, I think the Orange Rockerverb 30 is one of the sexiest amps known to mankind, if you decide to go with that

I'm saving up for the Rockerverb 100 head, although it's like 3000$ new here, but I can probably get it for around $2000, although I still wanna check out some other amps before I definitely decide.

trust me, as badly as you might think you do, you DON'T need 100 watts.  I sold my 50 watt 112 combo because it was too loud

the Rockerverb 30 is even too loud
