Mr PF: I could write a book picking apart that first demographics video you linked to. Seriously within the first minute I had PARAGRAPHS of problems with it. Gosh that was poor. I can't be bothered enumerating them all but they got off to a shocking start with the tellingly elusive "According to research..."
Mind you I think Islam will become the world's dominant religion as Christianity is unraveling at a faster rate but I think religion will start to count for less and less so it's not going to mean much.
Did you watch the second video? I posted them together for a reason.

Mr PF: Yes I did but I didn't really need the second one, I was falling out of my chair at the first all by myself. Still I should be used to this given my exposure to dawa. Childish fantasies.

Yes I noticed the ominous scare-mongering tone in the video which singposted it as Christian but it was still hugely remiscent of dahwa material. Some dahwa material says the exact same thing. Check out islam4uk and so on. (Their original site is down now as they were added to the list of terrorist groups but they've set up again somewhere else under a different name.) They were talking about how the UK will practise sharia law in our lifetime and they're not the only Islamic group saying so. I wonder if they're genuinely deluded or secretly know it's rubbish but just hope to attract the religious equivalent of soccer hooligans with such statements.

Was talking to a Christian colleague again today. He said he knows God exists because his wife told him Jesus used to appear in her room and talk to her when she was five.
It's so hard to respond to something like that. I can't give him approval but it's also not on for me to go "AHAHAHAH YOU MUST BE f**kING JOKING" and also I like the guy anyway.
I just said "Well that isn't logical to me. But you know, maybe that's alright, if god operates outside of the bounds of human logic maybe it doesn't have to me, maybe it's OK to feel it."
And he agreed with me and said that all the theists attempting to use evidence and logic to prove god existed were wasting time, that it was a mystical internal thing you couldn't explain with facts and bullet points. Which was great because that's what I've been saying for ages.

It's amazing that people don't think their mad when this happens. The existence of Jesus in your room is far more ,likely of course.
