^ Good point and I do not hate Michael Vick he has served his time. The only thing different, to me, is drugs are addictive and your life can be out of control very quickly and it has been medically established that this is a disease. (Being a Dodger fan you don't think I was rooting for Steve Howe to get over his problems?) While initially self inflicted some people just have a bear of a time with drugs once they go down that path. Never heard that about dogfighting or raising dogs to fight for money.

I don't really see why that should matter. Drug addiction is still an affliction that you bring upon yourself.
Just saying I don't see how anybody else could deserve comeback player of the year more than Vick. I don't know about MVP, but gotta say yes to comeback player.

Is Detroit going to cover the spread today? They have on their last four home games and New England is coming off their most anticipated game of the season with the Colts. So a letdown is possible. I wish it was Thanksgiving up here today.

Wow close for three quarters then New England put it into turkey mode and blew them out.

Yeah it was a good game for awhile. I was hoping Detroit could pull it out, but it sort of fell apart at the end of the half with that BS pass interference penalty.

Supposedly the Giants have made Jacobs the starter again over Bradshaw due to his fumbling. Guess it sends a message.
Lions kept it close, but sadly..in a game like that the better team is going to win always. Shame it was the Pats. Here's to hoping the Saints keep this lead. Oh, and the Jets winning would be cool.

Almost for the Cowboys......but that only counts in horseshoes. Football comes down to who wants the ball more...

You should be rooting for the Cowboys in that game.

A shame indeed. Never fear, the Pats D will prevent them from getting very far in the playoffs.

I predicted before the game that the Patriots would win 45 to 3. I got half of the score right. The rest of the score must have been due to the post-Colts beating hangover.

Nah, sorry Especially since I was with my Cowboy loving Uncle for the first half of that game! And I don't know man...the Pats defense is still not very good, but one thing about the Pats....Belichick can always get them into shape over a short time. He may have them playing decently by the playoffs. No idea how he does, I assume he keeps the team locked up for days, throwing bricks at them until they improve.

That is the story of their season. They had been within 3 points of their opponent going into the 4th quarter in 8 of their 10 games, and I think that they might have led during the first half in the other 2 games before having their collapse.

The Saints-Cowboys game was definitely the best of the lot, unfortunately I slept though the Jets game.

Well Scott....guess there's at least hope? Blowing it in every game is better than getting completely destroyed every game? I also slept through most of the Jets game

Everyone in the country, outside of Boston, was rooting for the Lions and the pressure must've gotten to them. Also, it would appear that the Lions might have a CB almost as terrible as William Gay.....nah, couldn't be.
The Pats are running the same s#$ty little quick play offense they did back in the videobowl championship years with a talent level that is at least equal to those years. This means that we could be in for another long offseason of ESPN licking Brady's enmentionables while he polishes another ring Billy boy's system got him. Sure, their defense is awful but it wasn't all that great back then, so I don't see it holding them back.

Well the Pats defense is worse now. For sure. That will be a bit problematic And we've gone over how much their offense ... is unpleasant ( )BUT its damn annoying and difficult to stop

So you want Dallas to get a top ten pick in the draft and for the Saints to have a better chance at home-field advantage through the playoffs?
