Gmail shows when other people are online for chat, but I think messaging him might be a bad idea. Actually, I better close the window so he doesn't message me and trip me up with his sneaky mind games.

Also, I discovered that if I record my guitar "playing" on my sister's portable tape recorder, then play it back holding down the fast forward or reverse slightly is makes an absolutely horrible noise. I need to find an adapter for the headphone jack so I can run it through my amp with distortion.

Let me know what you thought of it. The downside is they they have no acoustic moments, but on the other hand they have some Mr.Bungle-ish moments. I quite liked it.

But what if he sees you go offline and thinks you are avoiding him?

Probably. I think people would probably be better off if we were more like ants: no individual entity gives an ant instructions, they just do. They have almost no intelligence individually, but a whole everything fits together. Although of course everything else eats ants and most of them live short lives.
