Indeed, I just saw dredg live two days ago, and I just listened to el cielo for the first time.  It's pretty good and I think it'll grow on me more over time.

Caio, I had to go to dinner but I fixed the links.

Yeah, he should still be allowed on the Archives, regardless of if he has a signed release.  Cloudkicker is here, after all.

As I said in the suggestion thread, I think the band might belong in the archives, just not in progressive metal. Approve

I think exp/post is the best place for 413

As do I, and I know you said that your preliminary listenings made you think they weren't right for experimental/post, but you should really try listening to the album in its entirety.

I listened to the full albums. Ouch

But as I mentioned, I wasn't thinking about exp/post.

The thing is, that genre needs a revamp ASAP. It is pretty much a non-genre right now, a dumping ground for everything that is somewhat metal, but not fitting in the other genres . . . And even so bands that should be there eventually end up in tech/extreme . . . . Ouch

My bad, I didn't know you had tried them.
I agree, but the problem is that there are so many subgenres there that it would require a whole 'nother archives for (MMA) to try and break it down any further.  I could see them splitting it up a bit more though.

Yeah, I just proposed a revamping in the genre. Let's see how that goes.

Thanks. Right now the genre team is unstable and some people just can't take criticisms right. When I asked for help from the admins the whole thing almost collapsed, leaving the team for almost two consecutive weeks without a special collab, which are essential for adding and moving bands. Ouch

We are also not adding any bands since.OuchOuch
Ouch
And the subgenre thing IS a touchy subject, this isn't the kind of thing I want to be involved just yet. Wink

Time to listen to Olias of Sunhillow.  I heard some of it earlier, and let's say that (since I was expecting something similar to Yes) it's not exactly what I expected. Tongue

OoS is okay, but very different from Yes (though I wasn't expecting Yes)... and kinda cheesy. The album art and etc. are excellent though!
