Rob, does that mean you sealed the deal for the house?

Our future landlord sent me the documents this week.  Everything looks swell, and now we could be homeowners in 3 years- I never thought I'd be a homeowner before age 30, but here it is happening.

The landlord gave us carte blanche on decorating though, and so my wife is driving me batsh*tPinch

Jeez, 3 years?Confused Is that supposed to be good?Confused

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck moving Robert! ApproveCool

If he's talking the way I understood first (taking a loan to buy a house and repaying the loan in three years), it would be insanely good. But now I notice the word landlord, so I guess this is not the case.

However it is, good luck with all moving related Thumbs Up

We are entering into a rent-to-own agreement.

We pay the rent plus additional money.  That additional money goes toward the purchase of the home.  We have three years to get a loan to actually buy the house outright.  During that three year period, the owner cannot sell the house from under us.

I want to get a 15 year mortgage (instead of a 30 year one) and save a ton on interest.

Ah, sounds good Thumbs Up

Greetings, Shred!

Also, Rob (if you see this): Very excellent job on Still the Waters! I've been listening to it between classes today, and I must say, extraordinary job! Keep making music!

Since you are moving I would go with Moving Pictures or Moving Waves.

Haven't done Echolyn in a while.  I like that suggestion.

I refuse to post in the Theism / Atheism thread, and one reason for that is that it seems many participants still think evidence and proof are the same thing.
