It doesn't look appealing at all IMO. Thus why I'll never try it. |

Kos I already posted that in one of the discussion threads, and the text is originally from Reddit, and the math is wrong, fail.
Oh man, I can get an A in Calculus if I get a 96 average for the rest of the semester, is that going to happen.......

Why can't the Escapist website be as nicely done as their magazine?

Sometimes I almost feel the scammers should keep the money when their mark is that stupid.

I don't think so, although I read about it on a more reputable site. It's quite strange.
There's a guy at work who keeps going on about the McRib, it's horrifying.
Pf**k, I think I am too tired to see Cecil, and the thing I was sort of doing is only worth 25 god damn points (out of 750 for the class!), blargh fail.

Agreed. I read the story and couldn't think of anything except how stupid the guy must be. |

Rationally, yes, but at that point you're thinking emotionally. Of course it's tremendously stupid, but you have to realize how sh*tty the human brain is sometimes even if it's ok with other things. |

Finals weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I don't know if it will be enough to raise my American History grade to an A, though.

Oh no!
Jon, is Matlab supposed to be easy? Because I'm staring at this screen here trying to write a stupid program and I have no idea what is even going on in the interface.

Henry: the first thing I look at on a resume is Matlab proficiency.
In other words, you better learn it. Edited by Padraic - November 10 2010 at 15:07 |

I've never taken any Matlab courses, so I don't know. Not required (or even recommended, apparently) for me.

Yeah, I'm taking a computer programming for engineers next semester so I assume I'll learn something there, although from the description it seems to focus primarily on C++ and Fortran, which seems unnecessary? The problem with this is that this is an online course, and when I asked the professor a question she told me to look at the things posted on Blackboard, but the only things on there are the required assignment and a couple of very basic commands, since it's a broad lame ass intro class and you're not required to do it in any specific language, which is just as well since the materials are all from the mid '90s. But telling me the obvious way to calculate sine of something doesn't help me cobble together a program to run the quadratic equation, Cramer's rule, and screw around with complex numbers with some algebra. Ao I have to learn this entirely on my own. And the help files on the computers here are gone! Edited by Henry Plainview - November 10 2010 at 15:22 |

At first I thought you said Tangerine Dream, and wondered why you were unhappy. Then I re-read what you said, and don't recognize what she's listening to.
