Zappa didn't like hipsters.  I don't like that Zappa album very much though, so it's OK, feel free to use it. LOL

I got it because of the good reviews and everything, but in the end it was a big letdown for me - didn't have the same punch as Freak Out! and didn't have the same weirdness of the later material - really, it left me basically untouched.  I need to give it another listen or two though.

Oh well, I need to get dinner before I forget to eat.  Be back soon!

Well shred, I'm extremely busy with school as it is and the basketball season is coming up... Won't have much time for PA or music sadly...

All of my fellow basketball players listen to rap... And not even good rap, if there is such a thing.

I was going to say "there is" but then I realized everything I thought of was hip hop. LOL

I skipped a basketball practice to see Rush when I was a freshman.  My coach said it was OK only because it was Rush.  Big smile

Good rap exists. But like most good rock music, it doesn't get played on the radio.

Kanye also sampled freaking Can so I give him huge props for that. He's one of the few mainstream rap artists who still has heavy use of old samples in his music.

Thumbs Up I'd love to see Rush, even though I'm not the biggest fan.

Sounds like a good enough reason.
