Blah, I have to give a persuasive speech for my stupid communications class and I don't know what to do. My goal is to change people's behavior, and that behavior change has to be something they can do that day, how many topics are there that satisfy that...Maybe I'll do peak oil but I think I'm going to lose my whole retarded class with the graphs.

Stupid Frontlines game killed the shock value now everyone is just "meh it will probably be ok". I was a serious doomer about it for a little while but I can't really do anything about it but hope.
I have a feeling a lot of them will be health-related, which is equally boring. I was considering yelling about homeopathy for 6 minutes but I doubt anybody in my class cares about that either, and if they already don't care I can't really pursuade them to do anything other than complain to other people.

Hahaha, that's actually not bad except that at this point you can't convince college kids of anything about that.

Sure, but at least we got to see that argument rehashed for the 100th time on this site.

The music one is good, and let's face it, no one is going to care...at all. So just go for it.
OR why mass amounts of masturbation is good for you. It would be interesting...

I'm brave enough to take a firm anti-scrotal inflation stance. It's just not worth it, guys!

Doesn't matter that you actually convince them, but maybe make them think one extra millisecond before they do it, or feel one ounce of additional guilt for doing it.
