They would need more than 6 review/ratings first.

Well eventually I'll rate and review it.  How many more does it need?

I thought the general consensus was that Choirs was still metal though...ah well, I've only heard one full track from it (The Manifold Curiosity) and that to my ears sounds much closer to post rock/metal than avant.  I've considered buying the album, but based on my mixed/mostly unenthusiastic reaction to Coyote, which I've been told I'd like more than Choirs, I've decided against it so far.

Yeah I dunno if you'd like it that much

I personally think it's sex with my ears.

What did you think about Manifold Curiosity? That one is my fave

Well then listen to me: Choirs represents a Kayo Dot that is an avant-garde rock band with metal tendencies.  Coyote is pure avant and really only related to Choirs in its dark nature.  Trust me when I say that Coyote sounds very little like Choirs.  And it most certainly is not post metal.

I'm seriously thinking about seeing Jean Louis now.  Kavus Torabi and Marc Adler might be attending.  Yey!

Meeting Marc will be epic too.  He's in London that week and he runs the Kohntarkosz blog.  So Magma speak will be ripe.

I know Coyote isn't post metal, I own Coyote.  I don't have any plans to own any more KD, though.  Nothing I've heard has really grabbed me thus far.  Toby's got a big enough army of fanboys as it is. Tongue
