Kucinich vs Paul 2012! |
Was going to suggest Paul/Paul 2012.
I have a feeling Hillary will be resigning her post sometime within the next year to run against Obama in 2012 Democrat primary. Should be a really entertaining election either way but man, would that be a campaign to watch. |
I don't think Ron would pick his son. They differ substantially on a lot of issues. If Ron ran with his son I wouldn't vote for him personally.

Same here.

I still feel that anyone that comes forward with "real" solutions to deficit problems won't have a chance at being elected, because they'll be telling the people things they don't want to hear - but if we continue to bury our heads in the sand, when everything really goes to hell we have no one to blame but ourselves. | Only people won't blame themselves, because no one ever does. It isn't American to accept blame for anything (unless someone accuses you of racism, then you must apologize).

Rubio is definitely gearing up for a presidential run. I don't know if it will be in 2012 though. That is awfully soon.

Agreed, he just got elected. Even Dear Leader served four years of his Senate term.

No way, I think she's a terrible person and I'm glad Obama won over her, but she is not scheming enough for that. Even if she somehow won the primary, and I really doubt she would, she would be anathema to the whole Democratic party for sowing dragon's teeth. And if she lost, she would have significantly hurt Obama's chances at election with a bruising primary for nothing.
I could probably vote for Rubio, but he can't run 2012, he can't pull off Obama's post-partisan thing and that's the only thing that would work for running so soon. If people would even go for that another time around.
I have the perfect solution, anyway: Palin/O'Donnell 2012! They would be the first female president and vice president! We need to make history guys! Fiorina can be Secretary of State and Whitman can be Secretary of Defense. Maybe we can throw Susana Martinez a bone and give her, like, Department of Agriculture. Womyn power!
Also, I am astonished that Murkowski won. I can't even spell it, how could people write it in!

I'd be for it just for the lulz, if I could be assured that there's absolutely no way they could win.

I'd guess it'd be nice to have a President/Vice-President that I'd be willing to bang while I'm drunk.
That would make them more useful than any president/VP duo we've had in the last century.

California likes to be portrayed as so progressive.
Tell that to the gays and the pot smokers. |
Well, another fair point from Mr Shields Cali does have the liberal rep but there's this, the gay marriage issue, and that whole "taxpayer revolt" years back. Maybe it's because despite the liberal slant of the state...pretty much all the people off the coast are conservative. Just a hunch. Oh, and not EVERY liberal smokes weed And Henry's stance on weed is no surprise. This is the guy that was on board for cracking down on trans fats/sodas and all that. Even I don't support that! *Implying Henry is a fascist*
