And @ Jon, well, lots of people have brought up Horsey as suspicious. Ciubia, who was bad was pushing him. My guess is that there are more baddies left than civvies. Based on who suspects him, and the fact that he survived a Damo NK (saved by the Birds of Fire, yes?) I am guessing the Mafia remnants and Damo both want him dead.

So to me that makes him a likely civvie, and a likely lynch target.

Hmm...sounds possible. Do you have any baddies in mind to go after?

OK, well there are you, me Bea, Horsey, Sorsha and the Sleepwalker.

Personally, i want to lynch Sleepy~ he is under the radar. Yet he has inexplicably survived when most of the under the radar folk have not. When i looked back at who killed who, it seems the BREEers & Damo both took out quite a few under the radar players, yet Sleepy is still with us. To me that means he is either on that team, or he could be Damo. Are Sleepy & DP friends? Would Sleepy have recruited him?

Because I am fairly sure you are a civ. Which shakes my surety of Bea~ and Sorsha is hard for me to read. She generally always reads civ to me, until she doesn't, lol (although, numerically, one of them HAS to be a baddie, IMO). Plus i had no read on TNP~ but my guess is he was civ, because I have played pretty extensively in games with him, and he is much more likely to be engaged if he has a BTS partner. And like I said, Horsey could be civ, although I have no real read on him at all. Just the fact that Ciubia was suspish of him, somewhat forcefully, makes me think he is a civ.

So that is my take on the situation. I want to hear what everyone says, but if i had to vote now, it would be for Sleepy Cool

You can think of me what you want, and I suppose I might have made myself a bit suspicious not posting much.

But, why are you so sure Jon is a civilian? (sorry, I might have missed a post in which you clarified that)

Jons whole reaction to the me/Bea lynch, where it was switched to Nutella. He was convinced she was my bad partner, and she turned up civ. His reaction to that felt very genuine to me, especially coming as it did after a hard push to lynch me.

I have no info, so i cannot be 100% sure, but I would be VERY surprised if Jon turned up Mafia, or Damo.

Who, other than Sorsha, Horsey and me, has survived a kill attempt? And who tried to kill them? I would compile this info, but i have to head out for work. If we know who tried to kill whom amongst us survivors, we may be able to eliminate some people. Like for instance, Sorsha can't be Damo, she survived an NK attempt from him.

Night kill survivals:

horsewithteeth11 survived a kill on Night 1 (Birds of Fire). Damo tried to kill him.
S~V~S survived a kill on Night 5. Robert Wyatt tried to kill her.
Ciubia survived a kill on Night 6. Damo tried to kill her.
Sorsha survived a kill on Night 7. Damo tried to kill her.

I'm kind of curious about Sorsha's surviving the night kill attempt (as I always am of people surviving them). There are three obvious ways it could have happened, and only one of them is a civvie way.

Civvie way: Jon Anderson decided to protect her.

Baddie ways: Either she's Akerfeldt or Maynard decided to protect her. If Maynard was protecting her, that would mean she was him, as Akerfeldt doesn't need night protection.

We know she's not the indy (unless she kill-targeted herself for some odd reason).

Perhaps she'll come in and talk about it? Not all of the saves can be from Jon Anderson's flowing hippy heart. Right now, along with Mr. Loek, she's up there for me on the list of suspects.

at this point in time - sleepwalker seems most suspisious to me. As I said during the last day phase - at the beginning of the game I can understand why a new playing civ wouldn't have much to say - but at this late point in the game, I can't see why a civ would remain quiet.

Interesting point about sorsha jon. I have a tough time reading her - but it does look a bit weird that she survived the nk attempt.

The problem is that I've been absent for three days last week, and in the meantime the game continued.

So it's difficult for me now to make up any suspicions and say something meaningful.

are you caught up on what you missed? sometimes reading the thread when you are not "in the heat of it" helps you to see things? Anything stand out to you? Look odd?

Yes, those seem to be the only ways to survive. While two of them are "baddie" ways only one would guarantee that I am a baddie.... that would be if I was Akerfeldt, which I'm not so it must be one of the other two ways.

Maynard can protect whoever he wants, including civvies. It's a perfect way, in this game, to set someone up to look like a baddie.

for what it's worth - I can go with either option. - winter hours are starting to come into effect at work - so I won't have quite the avalibility problem I have in the rest of the year. :)
