 Topic: Need Help from Brits

Okay.. so I'm in London for the Progeny Fest... and Carl Palmer plays Monday night... However, I also want to do his show on Thurs. night at the Robin Hood 2 somewhere between Wolverhampton and Birmingham (near Dudley). Does anyone know where that is.. and if getting a train from London to somewhere near there is possible??

Hey 3F -
The Robin 2 is a great venue - been there many times myself - it's actually in Bilston, rather than Dudley; I'd recommend getting a train from London Euston to Birmingham New Street, then out to Wolverhampton; a taxi can get you from there to Bilston, no problems (they're very cheap too, in that area).

Tony Blair is always only to eager to help a Yankee in need. Give him a call at 1-800-ASSKISS -- he might even provide you with a military transport and troop escort....
 BTW, remember to look the WRONG WAY when you cross the street over there!

I go to the UK atleast twice a year... I'm use to the food. Of course, tho, its the only place in the world I eat Indian food and like it.
And as far as Tony Blair... that would be rather interesting.. afterall he's kinda cute!

Mr R - we happen to drive on the correct side of the road; if dim tourists (present company excepted, 3F) want to look away as we mow them down mercilessly, who are you to advise them otherwise?

I've lived 27 years in NYC were it doesn't matter which way you look when you cross the street... Think -NYC taxis.....I'm pretty good at darting cars by now.

Now problem Reed, those quarantine laws aren't quite as stringent now that they've figured out you're already in the country.

I wouldn't know since I haven't had McDonalds since my kid was a kid...
However, last time I was in London, Burger King seemed to be the British choice of fast food. I guess it has something to do with it being freeze dried american beef rather than the british beef the McDonalds uses.
