I like the art direction on that video, Matt, but they all look kinda dumb trying to pound their skulls in.

I'd say My Arms, Your Hearse is pretty dark woodcore
BTW, the Rome clip was pretty good

Cool, I'm glad you didn't forget that. If you want to investigate more, I really liked their 2008 album (which was the source of that song).
I also thought of Opeth, but I have the impression that when they use trees, they're thinking more of parks than of real woods.
