Deaf isn't good... you need a younger man with better hearing.
Joking, obviously.

My friend always plays Stairway To Heaven at the same three guitar stores whenever we go, usually on about 15 guitars.

Me? I've never been to a music shop.

He went to too many rock concerts...
If we ever decide that one of us does the move and we end up living together, he'll just have to turn off his hearing aids when I start bitching. See? We are a match.
Too bad he lives in freaking Riverside SoCal.

Someone at your school must have a guitar. Visit them. Gosh, I bet I could find drugs down your street if I visited.

School is even further away, and I'm sure you could.

I suck badly enough playing a 6-string.
I wouldn't mind getting and sucking on a lap steel though

Good old Jody Schecter, who'd have thought he'd make awesome guitars, as well as be an awesome driver?
Power Chord yourself into Greenday.

Indeed
I'd get it, but it's super expensive here/as I mentioned I suck at 7 and 8's. It's an amazing axe though. The store should be getting another shipment of schecters in soon, too. I'd get the 6 string model, but I really don't like actives from most that I've used. The schecter I posted on the last page is almost definitely the one I'll be getting, though.

The first song I learned on guitar was a Green Day one. "Brain Stew", and I still hold it to be a pretty good song.
