Come to think of it, I have no idea what the guys from Deep Purple look like.

Don't care for them.

Yes, because Deep Purple has so many violonists with thick Russian accents. Wink

There are some wonderful Gretch models, all way out of my price range though. Really wish I could get one. I'll hopefully be getting one of these over the next month or so, if its still in the store:

Good old English Roger Glover could likely quite easily put on a fake Russian accent.

Ooooh.

The music is by Gavin Friday and Maurice Seezer, from the soundtrack for Jim Sheridan's movie 'In America' . The track is called "All our troubles have flown away".

Nice.  Now I know what it is.

I don't really play. I took lesson for about a year a couple of years back, and I really haven't been practicing. I can strum a couple of chords a bit.

Whenever I hear a song I like and think "mmm... 4 chords only, no barre ones? I can do that" so I pick it up again.

I've been obsessing over this one these days:

Just buy an electric, slacken the strings and tap and slide yourself out of a paper bag.  It can't sound bad.

Even Matt could make a guitar sound tuneful if he taps the strings.

Yeah. I sent MrFirmTush a vid of me "performing" a really sh*tty version of some Madrugada song and he's like "oh, you sound good, when are you going to start writing your own songs"

He did mention he was going deaf though LOL

Have you never even strummed one in a music shop and been told "No Stairway"?
