Topic: Surveys Posted: October 25 2010 at 14:04 |
I usually get a survey on a receipt that entices me to fill it out so that I can get a free sandwich,10% off my next purchase or even a chance to win cash.
Is there anyone else that takes the time to fill them out?

If the reward is worth it, then yeah. Basically, if it says "if you fill this out you WILL get something free" instead of "you will have a minute chance of getting something free".

I fill out surveys when the service or goods was exceptionally wonderful or poor. In most cases it is the former, because if it is the latter, I don't bother returning to the company.

Usually not. Unless the service was so great it deserved recognition, or so awful it deserved bashing.

I did for years but not so much anymore. Many years ago I won $1000.00 for filling out a receipt at Burger King. After deductions I think I got $765.00.

So even after the government took what they thought was theirs......what did that figure out to be if you were paid hourly for the time that you put into that survey? $9180 an hour? If it took you 5 minutes to complete it.
