I'd like to see Vlad Guerrero make it to the WS and get a ring. It would be nice for Nolan Ryan as well.

I would like to see Cliff Lee get a ring. Although, I wish that I had seen that already.

Well, they won the must win game.
Just need to do it again, and again...

And the way their pitching was near the end of the season, I can't believe the Yanks made it this far. Also game 7 would be against Lee.

Keeping the faith anyway
Go Yanks

I'm still cheering for the Yankees.

Ah I see. LOL

I'm keeping the faith but the fact the Yanks made it this far was a nice surprise, and it would be a helluva comeback if they managed it.

MLB is dreading this . No one outside of SF and Texas will care about it.

Ha yeah.
If the Yanks somehow pull it out I can't wait for all the "Hmmm how much did they pay off "X" this time?"
Though that happens every time.

It is a shame, I'd watch it. Its the damn WS and I'd find it interesting to see some different teams.
Guess most don't care though LOL
Like  a college bowl game with a small time school in it always gets low ratings

Silly humans Disapprove

Agreed. It was nice to see Anaheim/Giants series a few years back. I was glad to see RoidBoy Bonds not get a ring.

Yes they will......the potential pitching matchups are much better than seeing overweight CC on the mound.

I'm hoping for Rangers/Giants.......

Game 7
Cliff Lee vs Tim Lincecum......both pitching a no hitter into the 9th......would be nice

Well if we do get another Yankee/Phillies WS no one can say they didn't earn it

(lol yes they will)

But each down 3-1 at one point?
Gotta love it!

As for tonight I'll have Yankees Radio playing in the car the whole time!
Go NYY

Of course you would want them to win anyway!

Can't say I'm very bummed. Honestly, saw this coming from early on in the series.

Ah well. Better luck next year Yanks.

Here's to that Giants/Rangers WS!!

HUZZAH

Hard to imagine that Jeter,A-Rod,Tex and Lance couldn't pull it together. I guess the Yanks are getting old.

Indeed, but then again the Yanks last month of the season was pretty much went down this very way. Shaky starting pitching and lackluster offense.

Maybe it is age. I remember names like Jeter, Pettitte, Posada and Mo from my early childhood memories!
Though Tex had a pretty disappointing year, as did AJ and the way CC has played as of late was quite surprising.
Talks of Girardi's head were floating around the radio before today's game even began.....Wacko
