Savage is just crazy, he can actually be entertaining sometimes.  Haven't heard his show in a really long time though, here it's on at like 2 AM or something.

Yeah, he's a good storyteller.  I like when he talks about his family in Brooklyn, his grandma, their meals, etc....he's a personality instead of just another political pundit with a talk show.  I can listen to him, while listening to someone like Al Franken for 3 hours would cause me to hang myself.
...that moment you realize you like "Mob Rules" better than "Heaven and Hell"

I'm sure this has been discussed in the 200 pages of this thread... but the main fault in her argument is the assumption that a man can make himself happy without others. I disagree.  I think that the best happiness comes from interaction with others, whether by giving or receiving. Such a critical viewpoint, while logical perhaps, is void of humanity, which is the purpose of loving.  If we are to only love those that deserve it, this inherently inhuman philosophy is a contradiction.

Since when was love a meritocracy? Show me a football WAG who ditched her celebrity partner for a plumber?

I think you misunderstood me.  I agree with what you said.

Savage is insane and brilliant.  I'm not a regular listener but from what I've heard you are just as likely to get a wild political rant as you are to get a recipe for soup.

O'Reilly is a spineless authoritarian.  His only core belief appears to be that everyone needs to listen to him.  He argues and gets in guest's faces for the sake of making himself appear passionate when he could actually care less.

I find Beck entertaining but he kills me with all the religious crap.  He has done a fine job of digging into this administration but certainly won't do the same for the next Republican administration.  He also needs to stop claiming to be a libertarian because he clearly is not.

I like John Stossel's show on FOX Business but it does make one feel like they should have studied leading up to watching it.

I don't think Glenn Beck is an idiot either.  Whiny and annoying?  Sure, but definitely not an idiot.

I think that sums it up nicely.  He, like every successful TV host tells people what they want to hear.  Believe it or not, some people like to hear that it's the end of the world and that it's the liberals' fault. Personally, I'd rather watch the Daily Show and disagree with Jon Stewart on some things than hear the melodramatic stuff Glenn Beck goes on about. I think the main problem is people are too serious Smile

I rarely watch any of this sh*t anyway.

Part of my job is news, and I'm on the net about 15 hours a day, so I can make up my own mind.

I actually do think Beck is kind of an idiot. Have you seen the sh*t he tries to pull with his whiteboard? OK, so you have to acknowledge that making it in show business (re: Fox News) requires some amount of savvy, and he certainly is manipulative so there's a sign of brain activity, but the guy either has no soul whatsoever (very real possibility) or he is significantly retarded and an idiot. You can't have a soul and believe/say the some of the crap he says.

Can you give an example of something that he has said that indicates to you that he has no soul? I'm curious.

I'm just going to post this assuming it's the same one/in the similar vein of the one I'm thinking of:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJpPktn4f0M

I didn't care to watch nine minutes when I've got an album going. But it has the words "Exposes vast conspiracy" so how can't that be retarded?

If you watch it, be sure to let me know if he tries to circle random letters in a sentence to make a connection to a left wing conspiracy, but instead spells the word wrong. it's hilarious!

But my impression of him having no soul comes from him pandering to partisanship like no one else with retarded crap like you see above (presumably). Or maybe he has a little festering anus of a soul. It's hard to tell.

There's really no argument you can make to support Glenn Beck being an idiot. I disagree with him on many, many things, but the guy knows his history/current events/political philosophy and draws very good conclusion even if I disagree with the premises.

Aww man you're really making me want to find that thing he did with the whiteboard. He apparently does a lot of them, but I'm not joking this was straight up comically insane.

It can wait until I care enough, though (Tip: I probably won't ever care enough).

And he is very capable of sucking money out of the taxpayers as well!  Sheesh, I wish I could get a gig like that.
Can you tell me where we're headin'?

Could you point to what in the video you disagree with? Seems pretty straightforward fact to me. His hyperbole "biggest story in american history" is a bit much, but that's hardly a substantial complaint.
