Erm... I said something to the guy who works there and he completely misunderstood what I meant...

He was browsing the shelves looking for something to buy himself and he said "hmmm, what do I want?" and I said "cock".

Whoops.

I thought he had a sense of humour...

I realise there's a no swearing rule but I wouldn't call that swearing as such...

Oh and he doesn't like the fact I end up going in there just to chat to my mates.  I don't actually play any GW games.

Precisely.

I gather he thought I was calling him a cock.

I've met the guy before a few times, he's a cool guy.  I just didn't realise he didn't have a sense of humour.

So apparently Acoustic Ladyland is going on a farewell tour and they're going to "reincarnate" as a new band with the same people, but with a different name. Confused

That sounds like the Agents of Mercy / Karmakanic concert.  The 5 guys from Agents of Mercy played the first set, took a break, and the same 5 guys came back and said "We Are Karmakanic" and they proceed to play Karmakanic's songs.

That would be confusing. LOL

Strange. The thing with this is, I was hoping to see AL live one day, but they said they'll never play that material again after this tour and the name change. I hope the new material sounds good as I get the impression the music in the new band is going to be different.

Actually it was the same 6 guys.  There were two singers and they switched lead and backup roles between the bands.

I am curious what their new stuff will be like.

I don't know if I had any interest in seeing them play live, but I do like Last Chance Disco and Living With A Tiger.  Both were pretty good albums.

Those are their two best albums IMO. Skinny Grin is what got me into the band in the first place though.

Oh wellz about not seeing them live, there was probably little chance they'd come to the states anyway.

I still want to see Echolyn live, hopefully they'll tour near me when they release the new album.

I heard it actually is supposed to come out, but until I see a specific release date (2011 is not a specific release date), I'm going to be assuming it's still a hoax.

Dunno, Gearbox provided codes for us to enter so we can get into the official "pre-release" demo, which is more than I'd seen before.  Plus, there's already some game footage released, there are videos of a recent game conference somewhere over in Europe with demo footage.  Ah well, math time.

I've heard about all of that, so maybe I'm just too skeptical. LOL

Enjoy math Jon!
