Why does MS Word default to 1.15 line spacing? It's the most f**king retarded thing ever.

I have mine automated to 1.5 because I have to have 1.5 or 2 as my school requires it as a format. 1.15 looks neater than 1, IMO.

1.15 is b*****d idiocy. Either have it at 1 or 2. Why would your school do 1.5? That's dumb. I always write in 1 whatever the requirement because I can't keep thoughts together when a paragraph takes up so much space on the screen.

My university prefers double spaced.

They do 1.5/2 for assignments so that they can write notes in between the lines when they mark it, or at least that's what my business teacher said. I'll admit it's kinda hard to see where paragraphs start and end when they run for over a page.

It's f**king hideous too. The paint was still kinda wet the next morning so f**king thousands of students were dragging wet psychedelic paint all through the library and nearby classes.

1.5 > 2 *

2 is too big and 1 is too small.

* OMG A PARADOX!!111 Shocked

You know Meshuggah has stolen your soul when you try and headband in polymeters.

I think I watched this at a friend's, to be honest I find Meshuggah so boring it boggles my mind. they have like one or two tracks I but other than that I find them to be incredibly dull.

Also, this is easy to headbang to.

Meshuggah sucks.

They make most black metal bands sound diverse.

From the "what are King Crimson fans called" thread.

I'm gonna second that ...

I think that we're actually Moonchildren here, all walking around with our heads looking at the ideals of "progressive" music ... and never once actually listening to it? .... something like that .... it's all about the idealism and the time and place ... and that song says it all!

They do say that history repeats itself time and again!

Every Meshuggah song ever:

*Verse riff, a fast picked rhythm on the top of a 4/4 drum beat*
*Continues for like 2 minutes*
*Vocals enter, riff is the same but more chuggy and the drums are more broken up*
*Chorus, which consists of the verse riff with a fast picked, higher note guitar section over the top, or keyboard ambient section over the top*
*Verse riff*
*Verse riff*
*Verse riff*
*Verse riff shifted to one ear with muffled sound, vocals in the other*
*Chorus riff*
*Verse riff*

Then the next track begins which is exactly the same.
Evidence:

Further listening: Every Meshuggah song ever.

Still? That must be terrible.

What is that Chilean rescue operation thread about? I haven't got a clue.

Over two months ago a mine collapsed in Chile trapping 33 miners underground.  They finally drilled through to them over the weekend and the miners are finally coming up from underground today.

They were saying on the news this morning that it is the longest known time that people have lived underground and survived.
