Thanks! What's up?

Studying for my astro exam tomorrow.  It's an essay test, we're allowed to write out any notes we want for it (as long as they're hand-written) and he's given us all the possible questions, so I'm making myself some outlines.

I feel the same way.

Plus, a degree in philosophy gets you about 0 jobs. XD

Except with Ayn Rand, of course. LOL

Haha, yeah, the only possibility you have with philosophy is writer.

James, it's been a while! How are things?

Average.  Things could be going a lot better right now.  There seems to be a lot of issues in my life at the moment.  Grrr.

How about good self?  I presume your absence from here only means one thing: you have a life!  Congratulations.

Sorry to hear that. Hope things get better for you!

I'm doing wonderfully, actually, thanks for asking. Haha, I guess you could call it that. LOL

Evening, June.  I'm supposed to be writing a letter (have been planning to for two weeks now) and yet again I've deliberately gotten myself distracted.

How's you?

I'm good, thanks. A little bored, perhaps.

A letter? Haven't you heard of emails? Wink

Yes of course but this is more likely to work.  I'm going to try and claim more money from the Insurance company.  I doubt an e-mail would be taken quite so seriously.

Oh right. I can't believe you haven't heard back from them.

Indeed, hence why I might give them a call on the morning as well.  Hmm.

Calling might be way more efficient than a letter, yeah.

Maybe, maybe not.  A letter at least means they have it in writing and if it goes missing, I still have a copy. Wink  A call can just get ignored and it's their word against mine.

Damn it, June.  I love Astro Boy.  Those first episodes were awesome.  I mean the original 1960s series too by the way.  The '80s version wasn't too bad either but the most recent one was a bit sucky.

James, Ben, and June:

Do any of you want to play my prog-themed Mafia game? Should be a lot of fun! I still have a few open spots, and it'd be great to have any of you guys. Hug

And I need to do a course of some sort... I need something to focus on.

I'm still thinking about doing a couple of courses in the future:

1. Latin (and not just because I want to study it; it'll be useful for my future career, hopefully)
2. Archivist (the job I want to try and get... there's a shortage of Archivists too)
3. Indexer (more for my pleasure but could also be useful for any job I plan to get)
4. Proof reading

Hmm.

I'm awkward.  I wish I'd known what I wanted to do aged 16... grrr.
