in fact, i`m preparing the material. a concise but also definite one. although all of the disagreement of the people here which was unfortunately  kinda misbehave in some cases, i still have my objection as tough as the beginning on the short and useless introduction about PF. i try to be friendly all the time but if i c improper reactions, then i don`t mind and do my own work. of course i`ll provide a better one and present it for site admins. PF deserves a nice introduction. some people here said in replies that this is not an encyclopedia. so how come that king crimson has such a broad introduction in a couple of paragraphs?! so does it mean that just in the case of PF it is not an encyclopedia???!!!!! but for others there`s no problem! PF is not my idol, but in fact i don`t like mis-judgment. we have to be honest with ourselves and if we find out that something is wrong somewhere we should try to improve it rather than providing reactive and aggressive reasons just to make ourselves feel good! i`m new here but i do my best to have a share in prog-music. and i don`t let anyone make me disappointed. everyone should know it here. such kind of behaviors resulted in this terrible situation that good music is almost dead and the world is ruled by actors (and not musicians) such as lady gaga, rihanna and other industrial idols.

I would think 99% know enough about Pink Floyd and some of the other band intros mentioned....unless you just crawled from underneath a rock or have been in a coma . I have probably read less than 10 of the bios......Bad on my part , I should read more of them to show appreciation for those that wrote or compiled them. I think a band like Pink Floyd are epic enough they don't need a 10 paragraph bio....A short history, bio, discography and then be done with it. I'm sure there are TONS of fan websites that pay homage to Pink Floyd in a more detailed manner than the PA does......but again this is a music website, not a specific band website.

offensive?! u think i consider PA as a battle?!! sorry for ur thought man. i`m just about to correct the things that i found a little wrong. and i do it. look at my original post. this is just kinda `need-to-do suggestion`. i asked one question and no one answered me in an intellectual way! IF IT IS JUST A WEBSITE FOR REVIEW OF MUSICS AND NOT A PLACE TO INTRODUCE THE BANDS, HOW COME THE INTRODUCTIONS ARE SO LONG FOR SOME BANDS, NOT OBSCURED ONES, BUT LIKE KG. IF THIS SITE IS NOT AN ENCYCLOPEDIA, IT SHOULD NOT BE SO FOR ALL CASES, IF IT IS AN ENCYCLOPEDIA, SHOULD BE FOR ALL THE CASES`
i think almost all of us are more or less well educated...! and we read at least some things about `LOGICAL STATEMENT`.
i emphasize again. i`m not aggressive generally. just about to improve the things around me.
being friendly should not be mistaken by being careless. i`m friendly but not careless.

did i type the word `POP`?! of course if we consider the original definition of pop music which separates it from classical music, then, rock and all of its branches fall in in the category of pop music as well. so, i did`nt mean pop music but GARBAGE material which is unfortunately called music today.
