What did you try to mod?


Tired to play the Broken Crescent mod for Medieval Total War 2. 

Did you check your game's update/patch number and the compatibility with the mod? Sometimes a game needs to be updated to a newer/older patch version for the mod to work.


No, I know all that.

The only thing I can think of is that I have Retrofit installed, but I don't see why that would have caused an issue.  Yes, they say "uninstall everything and do a fresh install," but sh*t, by the time I do all that it'll be time for me to go to bed.

And I'm not joining a new forum just to ask somebody there either and be told "You need to read the (27-page) sticky thread."

I have 1.3 Total War + Kingdoms + the Retrofit Mod (but I can play Vanilla or Retrofit).

A lot of mods aren't cross compatible and clash, hence the fresh install advice.

Well, I already pretty much asked her out (because another mutual friend was keeping it secret and spilled the beans a bit) and she said she doesn't want to commit to a relationship right now because 1) She's deathly afraid of commitment and 2) She's really busy with school and wants to concentrate on it (she just started college). So it was more of a "Not right now" rather than a "No".

But we'll find out I guess. And I can handle just being friends.

That's fine and all, but as we say in Dutch: your emotions can take a walk with you (sounds horrible in English Dead). I always fall in love when I don't want a relationship, resulting in me wanting a relationship.
