Stories are the one thing I really look for in a game nowadays, if it doesn't have a good story I'll get hella bored super quickly.

If it's got good action or fun gameplay and a good online it's usually worth the purchase, but games with really, really good stories are few and far between. |
Uncharted 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 were absolutely terrific, both story and action-wise.

True, although I generally avoid purchasing games for online, not much of an online fan, unless its in a roaming/open world setting. My top 5 games are narrative driven, and then after that it starts to get more gameplay based.

I don't have a PS3 so I can't play either ![Cry Cry](smileys/smiley19.gif) But I have played every other MGS game besides the ones on the PSP and the stories are utterly phenomenal. I'm a huuuuuuuuuuuuge MGS fan.

I need to think about it but my top games are probably the most story-driven games too.

Hmmmm... Autechre really are one of a kind. And most of the recommendations I would give you know anyway, haha. I guess Four Tet is the only other one I can think of, besides Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, etc.

Yeah, I've heard of Four Tet before, probably from you. Ah well, it was worth a shot. ![Tongue Tongue](smileys/smiley17.gif)

Yeah, sorry, I've already exhausted a good amount of my electronic recommendations on you. ![LOL LOL](smileys/smiley36.gif)

|
Did you check your game's update/patch number and the compatibility with the mod? Sometimes a game needs to be updated to a newer/older patch version for the mod to work.
| No, I know all that.
The only thing I can think of is that I have Retrofit installed, but I don't see why that would have caused an issue. Yes, they say "uninstall everything and do a fresh install," but sh*t, by the time I do all that it'll be time for me to go to bed.
And I'm not joining a new forum just to ask somebody there either and be told "You need to read the (27-page) sticky thread."
I have 1.3 Total War + Kingdoms + the Retrofit Mod (but I can play Vanilla or Retrofit).
