Tis not real, but it's still cool and Bruce Lee is still amazing.

So, Kevin, you're a fan of existentialism. A Christian too... like Kierkegaard himself, do you not see the contradiction in this position. Or do you not beleive in god/afterlife.

Existentialist =/= atheist.  There's nothing un-Christian about living to the extent of one's personal values or searching for personal fulfillment.
Besides, I'm more of a deist anyways.

No, there isn't anything from stopping a Christian (and deist as well) from living a life free from the externality of god. But then, you aren't really a philosophically complete beleiver then. You may as well be agnostic. One you have come to embrace that there is no external arbiter, and that essentially the purpose of life is self-given, then religion should cease to be of any moral value.

That's true, I'm not really a philosophically complete believer in really any complete school of beliefs.  I'm not agnostic because the deist school of thought makes more logical sense to me, and I also have no contempt for the Church whatsoever, unlike the vast majority of agnostics and atheists.
My personal philosophies coincide with existentialism where freedom, fulfillment, and values (somewhat) are concerned.

Right, I understand your position better now. I was just confused before, that's all.

Philosophy, eh?  I went to my philosophy club today as usual.  Sometimes the people in there can really piss me off.

Yes, but it seemed religiously-based... so, one-in-the-same to me.
