Ulver's Shadows of the Sun is a very beautiful album.  I prefer it to their black metal.

WELL OF COURSE!

I actually am not such a fan of their electronic stuff. I like Blood Inside and Shadows of the Sun. Rest are meh.

And of course Nattens Madrigal which is totally dildos

Check out their first two, as well as Blood Inside and Shadows of the Sun.

Very eclectic band!
Also if you are game for pure, straight up death metal look at Nattens Madrigal. I hate it but you know me and BM...

It's amazing, such an incredible leap over my old guitar.

The fit and finish are excellent, the larger scale length helps the bass strings stay sharp and punchy, the action is a little low for my tastes but I will get used to it.  The inlays are sexy.  It's fairly balanced.  I have yet to hear it plugged in but I'll bet it screams.
The hardest part will be relearning the string orientation.  Stretching to get to the low strings isn't hard at all but the larger scale length makes stretching down the fretboard a little tougher.

I knew it would be. Also, the lower actions can be annoying at first but once you get used to them you won't go back. Good to hear you're enjoying it man
