Hmm, I want to watch Werner Herzog's Nosferatu.  Partially because it's supposedly one of the best vampire films ever, partially because the locations are beautiful, and partially because of the Popol Vuh contributions to the soundtrack. LOL

Damn it, I've not seen that film in ages.

'tis a shame the sucky part was the most expensive part.  Apart from that, it's full of win.

Have you seen Aguirre?

Popol Vuh do the soundtrack for that too.

I've not seen Nosferatu yet though.  I actually want to see the original 1930s Nosferatu actually.

You mean the cow fight?  I agree.  I don't know why so many people think that's the funniest bit.

Indeed.

The CGI cow part is just pointless fluff and isn't especially amusing.

Nope, I haven't seen any of Herzog's films yet.  I see that Nosferatu is on sale over at Wayside, the 2-DVD version for $10.  Hmm...

I'd say a good mixture of 2 and 3 with a bit of 1 thrown in for good measure.  Supposedly Herzog's films are usually visually stunning, though I've not seen any so I don't know.

I do have the Art Zoyd Nosferatu on CD but apparently that was influenced by the 1930s original.

It's amazing, James, that even after all these years your bad taste can still startle me.
