Evolutive has added two albums as free downloads. Neo Prog is the genre.

There is now around 200 free ProgArchives albums, legal downloads, floating around in ProgArchives. Most of them are rather good. Some are brilliant. Enough to keep everyone happy.

I looked around a bit and I don't see that anybody has posted a link to Anti-Depressive Delivery and their new album which is free to download. Then again I've never been accused of having a keen perception for the obvious.

It's called "The Best of Anti-Depressive Delivery" but is in fact all new material. Very good stuff.

Somewhere I once read (canīt remeber where) that people who are big music fans - like us proggies, who spend hours on the web discussing music, donīt really care so much about sound, they often have old crappy sound systems, ... the audiophiles who invest huge amount of money just to get the right speaker cable with gold plated plugs, actually do not care so much about the music they listen to, as long as it has the perfect sound. I once met aaudiophile guy, he hardly ever talked about music, just about speakers, amplifiers, cables, etc.
I listen to a lot to mp3s, I have a old hifi and and a cheap cd player in my kitchen. As I travel quite regularly  I consider the ipod one of the greates inventions.

What is this thread doing in the General discussionsConfused It used to be in the Prog Music Lounge...

My album is Free/Pay What You Want - its been well reviewed in Classic Rock Presents Prog:

http://mattstevens.bandcamp.com/album/ghost

"Ghost is a phenomenal piece of work that has already garnered countless frothing plaudits  within the online prog and post-rock firmament. Wholly instrumental and insanely inventive.. an internet phenomena in the making. "Classic Rock Presents Prog

"(A)quirky, inventive, mostly upbeat, and entirely delightful instrumental album...While the music occupies its own creative zone, I found myself free associating names such as Brian Eno, John Martyn, Tom Verlaine, Anthony Phillips, Yo La Tengo, Steve Tibbetts, and even Radiohead while listening" Guitar Player Magazine US

"A one man guitar orchestra" Acoustic Magazine UK

"a poster child for the digital revolution that has taken over his country and much of the world in the past 10 years....Stevens’ passion for music creates a poignant and moving expression in every composition that he delivers" Alarm press magazine

Hope you like it :)

From their official homepage, this Zeuhl band has released their first albums as free downloads. Start at http://www.runawaytotem.com/trimegisto.htm and just download the albums from there by clicking at the covers to down in the left corner.

Then listen and review the albums........ Wink
