I saw the headline. They had those 2 players that died in a short span a few years back too. Disapprove

It's hard to hate the Saints, really. They're such a good story for Nawlins. It's not like the Yanks, who try to buy championships every season.

Anyway, it was a great game tonight.

har har....this aint the baseball thread so I wont shred you for that Wink

And I only hate the Cowboys and Patriots.
Others I'm neutral on or kind of like.
The Saints are a nice story...but really I like them as a team more so.

It was not a pretty win....close games are never pretty because someone leaves cryin for loosing by 1-2 points. But a win is a win.....Brees did what great QB's do, orchestrate a game winning drive with 1:00 left. How many times have we seen Peyton, Montana, Young.....do that.
It was a great game and the Saints found a way to win an ugly one........

Yup..sign of a good team
Its easy to win when you have games, especially when they are handed to you (IM LOOKING AT YOU 2007 PATRIOTS) and the good teams are those that win the ugly ones, the ones when you don't play at your best but still eek out the win.

If only the Giants didn't win MOST of their games that way...Disapprove

So the Raiders decide Bruce Gradkowski will start this week.  I thought he should have been the starter all along but what do I know.  Jason Campbell releases the ball two slowly for that O-Line to handle.  I am just glad that Al is not interfering with this one and it happened in game 2 not 8. I think he learned his lesson with JaMarmalade. I think we can win this week in Arizona.

If its one thing I have confidence about in the NFL, it's the Dallas Cowboys.
Confidence they will always blow it. If not now...then just later when it will hurt more LOL

Exactly. And thinking Romo is incredibly overrated doesn't hurt any either. Wink

One of the most depressing games over. You could feel it hanging in the air...

The Giants honestly should've won that game. They outplayed the Titans totally. Defense was good (kept Johnson and Young contained all day) offense was moving at will.
But sloppy play, penalties and mistakes did them in.

Twice were balls tipped (that should not have happened) that led to interceptions, both near the goal line.
On a good drive there was a fumble near the endzone..
After starting to turn things around Eli made a great 40 yard pass from the one yard line, which was undone a chop block in the endzone...play reversed for a safety...then titans scored a TD on the next drive.
That's 15 points the Giants gave the Titans right there.

11 penalties and all at costly times. Kareem McKenzie was penalized twice for late hits and was benched, and booed off the field. A delay of game on a field goal and ended up missing the next attempt...
Giants dominated and f**ked it up.
Angry

Atlanta deserved that win, they were the better team for sure......but ohh so close to stealing that one by the Saints.

Seahawks won...so that makes my Sunday a little better.

I thought 49ers came out and played the better game against the Saints also.

Although the possibility of a 3-13 season still exists. LOL  The Lions will have to beat the Rams in two weeks, otherwise 0 and 16 might be a distinct repeat possibility.

They were another one of my sleeper teams.
The 49ers appear to be riding the train to fail city...so it's up to the Cheifs

And HUZZAH RAMS!
Also the Jets who won without Revis.
