Yep. 

You know, for a while there, I was starting to think that Magma bass lines weren't all THAT hard to learn.  Then I realized something...Philippe just makes them seem effortless.  He is a true, formidable BEAST.

He's very possibly my favorite overall bassist - he's got an amazing tone, WONDERFUL technique, everything...his only rival is Mingus really, and I guess they can co-exist since Mingus only plays upright and Philippe only plays electric.
