Its happened.
And they're not venomous per se but their saliva does have bacteria in it. It kills things brutally, (more than the bite)
Really, they are illegal for a reason. It would most likely ruin your house and eat you.

edit: now I realise that sounds bad... I don't mind the sulking and I happen to enjoy talking to you guys too, so I don't have a problem with it.
