NO FAIR! Too many comedy greats here to choose. I'd go for either L&H, A&C, the Marx Bros, the Three Stooges, or Monty Python. Can I say "Other" and pick those 5?

If that was how it went, then I could vote for all of them.

If I absolutely HAD to pick just one...I'd be able to narrow it down to Abbott and Costello vs. Monty Python.

Monty Python for intellectual humor.
Stooges for the slapstick. L&H, A&C, and those commie brothers just didn't appeal to me too much. Kids In The Hall and the guys behind the kids in cartoon I enjoyed. Rowan and Martin got to me before Python. Edited by Slartibartfast - September 06 2010 at 20:39 |

Too difficult to vote for a favourite team, as I like/dislike individual team members.
Faves :
John Cleese / Michael Palin / Terry Gilliam (Python)
Groucho / Skid (Marx Bros.)
Jerry Lewis
Trey Parker
Rik Mayall / Ade Edmundson (Bottom)
They ALL make me LOL
ps : CLASSIC Groucho Marx line : 'Try our exclusive insurance policy.....only $200 per week for the next 50 years.........and if you lose a leg, we'll help you look for it' !!

Cheech and Chong are worthy of a shout out. Or maybe just a cough out.
