Bring it on! If Ms. Galas doesn't separate the men from the boys, I can add some Beefheart, Jandek, and Einsturzende Neubauten to the mix
If I'm in charge of the Constitution, can it be written in Kobaian? Anyone wishing to amend it will have to study with Christian Vander first...that will pretty much ensure that it stays intact.
VC should most definitely be White House Press Secretary...can you think of anyone else better suited to drafting press releases and handling media events?
I also nominate gdub as minority house leader.
I think congressional proceedings would be more popular if they were more fun to watch...maybe not as far as Italy goes, but we can all agree that porn stars deserve more visible representation.
and I already pay my bills just fine, danbo

Also, I'm not being inflamatory guys, but we need a replacement anthem - "the star spangled banner" is getting a tad threadbare - unless it were to be officially replaced with Hendrix's Woodstock version, of course.
Any ideas for an anthem for our new Prog state?
Immediate exile for anyone who takes the easy option & suggests 'anthem' by Rush'

Easy answers: "America" by Simon & Garfunkel, "USA" by King Crimson (imagine that at the start of every baseball game!), "US Blues" by the Dead, "I'm so Bored with the USA" by the clash

Holy shiite Batman, I forgot the Clown? Many apologies and a thousand head slaps to my barren forehead as punishment.
I believe the Velvet ONE should be Warden of our Prison for Artistically Threatening Pop Stars. Mariah, Britney, Janet, Jessica and Ashlee and any other female persons fitting the criteria for weakening the boundaries of music by caterwauling, siren screaming, silicon enhancing or just plain sluttery, will be placed into the Velvet Clown custody do with as he so pleases. Ah, within the parameters of forum decorum.... The male Pop Stars will go to Phillipe where they will be educated and reformed as the French Foriegn Leagon of Prog Elite.
GARTEN.... Do as you may.
James.... You've NEVER paid a dime of taxes on your hobby.

I nominate 'Gates Of Delerium'. Even in it's entirety it would be only half as bloody long as the full version of 'God Save The Queen'.

Little ol me, the warden of the dungeon of despair What an honour ..... I think......
The Torture Never Stops
Flies all green 'n buzzin' in his dungeon of despair
Prisoners grumble and piss their clothes( Must be REED ) and scratch their matted hair
A tiny light from a window hole a hundred yards away
Is all they ever get to know about the regular life in the day;
An' it stinks so bad the stones been chokin'
'N weepin' greenish drops
In the room where the giant fire puffer works
'N the torture never stops
MTV never stops.

VC, you should focus on what meassures you could use to REFORM the little tarts. Not to mention all the "WOMEN IN BONDAGE" moments you would always treasure. Hot oil wrestling matches, fruit baths, soup suds, crisco!
