I haven't got that much money. I'm saving for food and rent and some vinyls I ordered.

| I know what you mean. I don't even have a real booth. That's just a picture I found off the Internet.

These pipe guys are awfully vulgar people. They use loud machines and shout to each other.

Thin Air and Haus der Lüge just arrived - undamaged! There is only one explanation for this: the guys at the post office have been reading my posts and in fear of being complained about and kicked out of their jobs have decided not to break my CDs anymore.

Cool!
Our post office destroyed $100 worth of stuff we'd sold someone else. We had to return their money and we lost the $20 in postage.

He played a setlist that, according to James, was so much full of fail But of course we know James' tastes.

Well for starters, my glasses fell off during one track ( The Grudge) and my vocal mic was making clipping noises for the first minute of Lightbulb Sun, which was really annoying although it cut out after maybe a minute. Other than that it went swimmingly The order in which I played the stuff was this: Tool - The Grudge I was on lead vocals and guitar] (opener for the night/glasses fell off about halfway through and then I couldn't see part of my fretboard which was horrible, other than that it went well) -5 minute break for setup- Porcupine Tree - Lightbulb Sun [Lead vocals and clean acoustic] (Mic was clipping as mentioned for the first minute or so which was REALLY offputting and made me nervous as all hell but it went back to normal about halfway through the first verse so it was alright.) -Another group played 2 tracks- Solo tracks: Steven Wilson - Insurgentes [Piano and vocal with friend doing the bass solo to the outro] (went very well, was really happy with how it turned out. Piano sounded pitch perfect to the actual track, as far as I could tell.) Ghost - Neutral Milk Hotel [Acoustic guitar and vocals] (went fine as well, although my vocals didn't sound very close to the original) Sour Girl - Stone Temple Pilots [Electric guitar and vocals] (only been playing this for a week so it didn't go as smoothly as I'd hoped, although still went really well. Only annoying part was switching guitar effects at the chorus) -Other kids did the rest of their performances, for about an hour's break, in which I was practicing my last few bits back stage- Smashing Pumpkins - Thru The Eyes Of Ruby [Lead electric and lead vocals] (Also went perfectly, was the most nerve wracking for me because I usually don't do lead guitar and had to switch effects/pedals about 80 times. Went down really well.)
-5 minute setup break- Porcupine Tree - Sound Of Muzak [Electric guitar and lead vocals] (went perfectly and my friend pulled off the guitar solo like nobody's business. This is the one we've been able to play for the longest as a group so we were well practiced with it, went down with absolutely no hiccups.) --Another 30 minute break for the last of the other performances-- Blackfield - Christenings [lead piano, chorus guitar, lead vocals and guitar solo] (was my favourite from the night because we got to close the show and I got to play a guitar solo for the first time live. The crowd seemed to enjoy this one the most as well, although switching between piano and guitar was really, really annoying to have to do.) Overall I'm really happy with how it went although I'm still super annoyed about the two or so f**kups we had. Some parents filmed the show so I'll see if I can get a tape.
