It's funny. Alex and I live in the same timezone and he'll probably wake up when my schoolday already is done. LOL

That was a good intuition LOL

Actually today I slept even more because of the Kayo Dot concert broadcast from last night, I woke up at 2 PM. And after that I had to run out to pay the rent, so I didn't check in in the Shred at noon like I usually do.

How was the KD broadcast? I believe I read some pages back they were going to play some stuff from the new EP as well? Shocked

No he doesn't, he is a lightbulb.

Besides, Hattie is in fact the lightbulb with a hat on that King's X album cover.

Yep.

I'm sick of the heat, the lizards, high-as-hell rent, no place to park, and flaky people.

I found out I could live in the ritziest neighborhood in my hometown- a single family home with a gorgeous yard- for less than we're paying here.  And the apartment complex wants to raise our rent $40 a month starting in November.  Screw that.

My entire family (both sides) lives in a 40 mile radius.  My kids will have cousins and second cousins to play with, and my wife and I both have very good friends there.  It's so damn lonely here.  We've been here four years and have no friends.  We're going back.

Great news Star

The concert was brilliant, they played Coyoto in full. It was edgier than the studio version, Toby almost growled during a hot moment. You can hear it recorded in full here, on the show's blog: http://pipeline.wmbr.org/

The preview was made with the studio recording of the new material, but I couldn't understand much of it because they talked over it. It had a lot of vibraphone, and sounded a bit like Tortoise.

I don't even know how to solder! The only thing I've ever soldered is my sh*tty contact mikes, all of which have broken after 2 uses. Stupid sh*tty wires...

I've soldered stuff in my basement before, doing school projects with LEDs or putting new contacts on my airsoft batteries.
