Well, neither.  We moved down here because the teaching opportunities were good and there was no state income tax.  LOL

My wife grew up here in Florida.  We lived in NC for 3 years and then moved down here after we graduated college.
OK.  I thought that your wife grew up in NC too.  She just went to NC for college?  Forgive me.  I am getting forgetful in my old age. LOL

Time for a little procrastination, methinks. Hello all.

My gradual transition into nervous wreckdom. I have a job interview on Friday for a job I actually want and I've lost half the documents I need to take with me.

I like lizards too, Henry.  :(

Why does everyone mention my name like it's a state or something?  Wink

But seriously, congratulations and best of luck with the move, Rob.

Henry likes Mr. Beast?  So that means we actually have some music in common?!

Actually, she got her degree from a school in Virginia via distance learning.  I commuted to a local university.

We both did a year or so at a private school in Georgia.  It was too expensive though, and we wanted to get married.  We got hitched in July of 2003, and then moved to NC for 3 years and finished our degrees in our own ways.

I can't remember.  Did you meet her on-line, or at the school in Georgia?

Thanks! Also, be sure to check out Spirogyra and Jan Dukes De Grey for prog-folky goodness, if you haven't already.

I saw Torodd's interview of the band and the thread that discussed them.  Were there some free downloads involved there somewhere?

I need to check out Jan Dukes De Grey still. I also liked the Mellow Candle sample I heard in that folk thread, so I gotta check them out too.

I didn't even know he interviewed them, Scott.

Met online at age 16.  Fell in love despite rarely seeing each other.  Then we decided to attend the same college.

I saw a stat yesterday that said something like 30% of couples under the age of 30 met on-line before meeting in person.  That is pretty wild.

Oh cool, I didn't notice that.

I mean the Flairck thing, although I didn't know that statistic either.
