They're on the People Who Do Noise documentary, I think they've been active the whole time. I mean, shoot, if Peter Brotzmann can still release 6 albums a year...

Ah, I see. I only listened to them once for the ZART, did their bio, and never listened to them again. I suppose I should add the new album to the DB as well.

Hey, I almost never talk about Magma, even I'm tired of it.

Yeah Luke, according to AMG they've been intermittently releasing albums since 82.

Well I'm not going to finish this stupid assignment on time, f**k it I'll turn it in late. They're worth almost nothing anyway. I originally got up to do this thing, that would only take me like 20 minutes, so I guess I totally wasted my time.

I agree Scott! Would you like this cool video of what a slow cell phone camera framerate does when you record a propeller?

I don't mind talking about Magma as long as it doesn't turn into the Magma Fanboy thread. Tongue

I am listening to the album Motivation from the band Balloon.  It is something that might appeal to latter day Porcupine Tree fans.  It has a similar sound and feel to it.

I can only stand noise in small amounts.

I suspect that I would prefer Meshuggah over Merzbow.

Probably, there is some fairly listenable Meshuggah, Destroy Erase Improve isn't so bad.

There's some fairly listenable Merzbow too. Sphere is smooth jazz compared to Pulse Demon.
