Agh, my next-door neighbor stumbles into my room smelling like alcohol from across the room, asking if he can crash here for a while since a girl passed out on the other side of the hall and the cops were up here.
He looked like he was about to vomit and I had to help him unlock his door. Otherwise he woulda passed out on my futon.

Bro, on the third day of my first year, one of my neighbours tried to drag me out of my bed because he thought I was in his room. I told him to f**k off, and he fell unconcious on my roomate's bed, who was also unconcious.

Eh, while I still think you're an alcoholic :P, you don't do hard drugs so it's OK. And you're not frickin Rwanda poor.
BTW, I'm a little surprised you thought I was an atheist, since I've talked about my Catholicism several times. But I suppose my hard line stance on some reasoning/logic issues and my general negativity isn't usually what you associate with a religious person.
He's hiccuping every two seconds and trying to get down the hall to a girl he wants to meet, but the cops are still there. I have to hold him back.
Wow, I hope they tone this down a bit once school starts. We're not even two days into this.
Well, from my 3 years of university experience this should happen.
1. The first week will be crazy, get used to it. 2. People always settle down, but some won't. They won't last long at uni, or will be forced to calm down by something. 3. Enjoy the freedom of your first semester. It only gets harder later, and you only become more apathetic.
I would hate poor people, but then it would only add to my self-loathing.

I'm not an alcoholic, but then again I'm drinking wine at the moment.
Eh, I'll admit that I don't have a lot of religious friends IRL (I tend to find ways to insult them), but that is mostly because NZ is quite secular and it's not a huge evangelical thing here anyway. But the way you always came across to me was as an athiest, but that's just my inatention to detail. My personal philosophy when it comes to religion is very much, keep it to yourself, unless asked. And yes, I am a athiest. Mostly through apatheism though.
