Wow. Sage advice there. Kevin, dont be smart (or dumb) like Henry....get an easy degree! Unless you want to be an engineer or something specific a bachelors doesn't really matter, as long as you have one.

I was going for an English degree (or something) at the time, that's about as good as it gets besides Communications! And you know that I try very hard to be profound.

An easy degree doesn't earn you much money.
It's either mechanical or nuclear engineering for me.

You heard wrong. Contrary to popular opinion, we don't have cheese with every meal of the day.
We only act like this during Packer games.

That's right, Necron, you were the one that I was complaining about using the graphing calculator in Calc, right? Wait, no, I think that was HTCF, I'm losing my mind. Did you get AP credit for Calc I or are you going to have to take it in college?
My intuition says that nuclear may be a better choice for job prospects than mechanical, but I'm entirely making that up.

I don't think you were telling me about the calculator.
I did get AP credit for calc because I got a 4 on the AP test, but I opted to take Calc 1 again because I'm still hopelessly confused by the subject and I don't want to flunk out of Calc 2.
Nuclear is, IIRC, the highest paying degree out of college at the moment. I'm thinking to go mechanical, though, even if it doesn't pay quite as well, because mechanical has a much broader range of fields you can go into.
From my school, both have about the same placement rate within a year out of college (nuclear at 91% versus mechanical at 88%, if I 'm remembering right)
