I had social anxiety from year 8-10 and I've only really been getting over it since the start of the year... Wouldn't exactly call myself confident or a stud.

I used to hate being in public (or outside my bedroom for that matter) and went out about 2 times socially in all of year 8. Going to a private school full of rugby pricks didn't help either. Finally settling in to being happy with who I am. I still get uncomfortable in crowds a bit and don't like to be out for too long, but actually talking with and going out with girls has helped lots

I've met both of the girls who I've dated through prog The first one asked me to go to a TMV gig with her because her friend was too sick to go, and that was cool, and I originally started talking to the girl I'm currently with because she asked what I was listening to on the bus and it was ISIS and she's a massive ISIS fan.
