It was pretty awesome actually. Funny story though. The friend of a friend who went said she was going to leave there with a guy's number. And at one point in the night, some random dude went up to her and started grinding her, and she had this look on her face like "Well, I guess it's okay, but this isn't the way I expected it to happen?...". And they exchanged numbers and everything, but it was kind of weird considering the 3 of us had chosen not to participate in such...types of dancing. Embarrassed

Oh, and some really drunk dude tried to make me grind one of them, but I gave him a look like I was going to kick him in the nuts if he did such a thing. AngryLOL

Otherwise though, we had a good time and I enjoyed it. Smile

It's okay, but it would be better if it wasn't so damn long.

Their new one, ORwarriOR, is about as long but it's a bit more eclectic/original, and it was produced by Steven Wilson.

Not the 2 I was with, no. And it's not my style quite honestly.

Plus every guy I saw except myself and maybe 2 others were doing it. Most of them looked like animals, and not in a good way.

Not many bands can pull of 60+ minutes of no filler.

The only ones that come to mind are motW's Bath/LYBM, earlier Mastodon, and Gojira's From Mars to Sirius (like, 66 minutes or something Shocked of pure amazing)

I guess I could grind on a random girl. But 1) She'd have to be good-looking enough and 2) she'd have to make it pretty clear she's single. And most of the girls there didn't look single to me. Ouch
