This is from Toby Driver's news website http://www.kayodot.net/toby/index2.html:

2) "There is a sample in the middle of "Rose Quartz Turning to Glass" that some people have been saying is some kind of "avant-garde" vocal trick of mine.. I just want to mention that it is a SAMPLE of something specific and not a vocal and not performed by me! There's more to it than that, as is the case with every layer of motW's music. You guys should know that by now."

Pretty weird.

While I don't know if I buy the whole astral projection deal, even if it is a cool idea, I think there is some merit to the idea behind dream music.

I know I've heard it, but I've never ben able to remember it once I wake up.
Funny enough, in one incident I was showing a friend what Kayo Dot sounded like in one of my dreams, and though I don't remember how the track goes, it's no Kayo Dot song I've ever heard, and I've heard them all Confused
True dream speak right there.

Thank you Sal!

And while I agree, and was about to do that.....I'm not too familiar with Maudlin and this whole astral projection thing sounds trippy as balls

Youtubing.

I've often thought it'd be a fun experiment, but I need to learn to induce lucid dreaming, OBE's, and practice my dream memory, which is somewhat poor.  I've only recently gotten better at it.

Did you?  I've never listened to Pax Cecilia.

Now I'm in the mood for PTS.

Indeed. Never practiced but had natural, (albeit mild) lucid dreams.
I can never remember my dreams, at all. 99% of the time Cry
There's a way to remedy that?

Anywho, I'll try it.

No prob JJ!

I've tried lucid dreaming a few times, it really does work.  Funny enough, after I watched Inception, I came home, went to sleep, and had one of the most vivid dreams I've ever had.  Very weird, but true.
If you just tell yourself that you're going to lucid dream, you probably will.

Sure.

I've had only a handful of lucid dreams in my life, and one horribly realistic OBE.  I was shook up for a week. Cry
The best thing to do to help yourself remember dreams is to keep a dream journal, and every day after waking up, writing down every single detail you remember the moment after waking up.
I also think it helps me to tell myself "I will remember a dream tonight" as I lay in bed, and to imagine the feeling of what it's like to remember a dream while trying to go to sleep.
Eventually your dream remembrance goes up, I saw improvement after not even a week.
I've fallen off a bit with my journal recently, though, and it's declined a bit.

Indeed, you have to tell yourself that you want to induce this.

It may not happen this spontaneously, but it will happen.

Yeah, Jordan said the same thing.
As simple as "I will have a dream/lucid dream" and "I will remember a dream tonight?"

Why not? I kind of want to try this.
