LOL

I initially bought my Ibanez for jazz as well, but it's more versatile than I could've ever imagined. Works great with Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Swing '11 strings.

I used various flat-wound 12-gauge strings on mine before I decided to use it more for rock music.  The next time I get a guitar for jazz, it might be a Gretsch hollow-body.

Of course, that's way down on the list, and far into the future.  At the top of my wish list is one of these babies:

Nice. I'll probably buy a Gretsch somewhere in the future as well, but my wallet has yet to recover from that Weber Gallatin that I posted on the previous page. Disapprove

I don't use mandolin that often to justify a fortune.  LOL

I have a country-jazz project I started with my wife about 4 years ago, and bought the mandolin for that to add some flair.  I do use it in my solo work though.

Getting much cooler. It's only 20 degrees. This summer has been crazy with 35+ weather for weeks.

Wow. Regardless if that's Canada or Finland, it's weird; France is much bellow both but this was a pathetic excuse for a summer. Very low temperatures and very little sun, not at all like you had up there. I had to go down to the Mediterranean to get real summer. Angry

Same. Evaluating some post-rock for PA, trying to convince myself to write something on my blog. Oh, and waiting for the tonight's football matches.

Nice.  I think once I get back from work, today will be the day I start writing reviews.
