What stops you? Apart from the things being quite expensive if I recall correctly.

They got the 2010 Custom 24's in stock today at my local music store, but they were 5300$ Not only that, but to do a guitar like that justice I'd have to:
a) Be amazing at guitar, and b) Have a rig which would do the tone justice. The SE models are really nice too, and the prices aren't too steep. I tried this one out today: Which was only $1100. But that's still 1100$ more than I have to spend |

$1100 is not too much. I suppose they're nice guitars, as I really like Opeth's guitar sound and even SW's. Time to get a job?
I want to buy a steel string acoustic for quite some time, but I suppose I'm too lazy to. My electric guitar has a gigantic crack in the neck, but I guess it makes it "vintage".

I'd love an acoustic as well, although I'm pretty happy with my electric's clean tone as far as playing acoustic stuff goes, for now at least. I tried out a few others as well, this is the only other one which I really loved: But that one was 1200 Looks like Fender picked up on your vintage styling! |

Well, I guess Fender's vintage guitars don't have cool background stories like dropping your guitar with its neck against a wall in a McDonalds.
Also, I really want Uaral's debut, though I don't think it's being sold anywhere.

Their homepage doesn't seem to have much on it.
No idea where to get them; this guy seems to be a pretty huge fan though, has all of their albums scrobbled loads. Asking him might help. |

Ooh, a mandolin I've played my music teacher's mandolin a few times at school, getting the whole double-string picking down was way too hard for me

Yeah, I had to adjust to that as well, but I'm reasonably good at it now. The sound is just amazing. It was love at first sight. |

Oh, just read Uaral's debut was released in a pressing 500 copies in 2005, and another pressing of 500 copies followed earlier this year. The world is too cruel for those who don't listen to Ke$ha and Justin Bieber. WHYYYYYYYYYYYY????!!!!!

Man that sucks Even for artists as big as Porcupine Tree it takes ages for OOP albums to get re-released. That's terrible though.
They don't seem to have anything other than a music player on their homepage. It sucks that they don't have the MP3's for sale, or available anywhere. Edited by progkidjoel - August 18 2010 at 05:53 |

I had to hit the hay before I saw this question, sorry.
The only thing that has changed since then is that I sold the Fender Geddy Lee Jazz bass (for almost what I paid for it) and bought an Ibanez SR200 bass that plays extremely well. I also temporarily have my late grandfather's Yamaha SA2200. It belongs to my brother now (who doesn't play), but I'm borrowing it. |

Awww, poor you. I'm enjoying Empyrium's Weiland at the moment. Excellent album. |

Nice list Rob.
Those Ibanez Artcore models are great value for money btw. I use an Ibanez AFS85T myself. |

They really are! I bought one to use for jazz music, but when I got home and cranked up the distortion, it sounded really amazing. I have an AS83, with the pretty inlays. By the way, last night a tiny insect was running circles on my computer. For quite some time I wondered how your signature made it to the top left corner of my screen. |
