Peace Alex!

And really, listening to the mantle at night in the woods is a great experience!
Up there with listening to Burzum while walking through the rain

So dark

Seeya Alex!

I hate reviewing hard to review albums.  They take a longish time to do and I'm never quite satisfied with the result anyway.

That's how all writing is, from a novel to a PA review. I almost never am fully satisfied with mine.

Mr. Brown does not have a Facebook.  I don't like social media.  I didn't even want a Myspace but got one anyway just for the sake of having samples of my music.

Ironically, social media is a large part of how I earn my living.

Same.

Is it just me or is In A Glass House incredibly hard to review? I've wanted to review it many times but I don't even know how to approach it. Confused

I like some of my reviews, though.  The one I just finished, maybe not quite so much.

June, I almost picked up Tom Wait's Orphans today, but then decided since I only have Swordfishtrombones and Bone Machine that I should get some more of his back catalog before checking it out.

Doesn't matter. Orphans is really an amazing album in its own right.

Does anyone know if Arthur Brown cite Screamin' Jay Hawkins as an influence?

I like some of mine as well Salty, but just a few. I mean I won't put crap out but I am usually not 100% happy with it. But it is just a PA review, not the great American novel.

You don't have to like it to use it. I wear clothes after all. Hey oh!

Well PA reviews are about as close as I get to the "great American novel" anyway, so I try to keep the quality control rather high.  LOL  I got a message from someone already saying that he loved the review though, so I'm feeling a bit better about it. Embarrassed
