Because sometimes you pay for the production... sometimes you just pay per song, the latter I seriously doubt they wanted to pay more, so most be a total deal of hours... then maybe half of the songs were just rushed away trying to avoid more time of costs, overdubs, arrangements and the result is a half sucky album...
