Ulver's first album is pretty awesome. It's actually interesting black metal. This is saying something, because most black metal is boring as f**k.

I love technical and extreme metal...but technical implies more than 7 mins of blast beats and a wall of buzz that I think is guitar. And thrash/death metal are my fav metal sub generes Rawks
